Cerelus glances around then presses on toward the middle right path. Alina then shrugs and walks down the far right path, this leaving only the far left path unexplored.
The path Gosalyn had taken was much larger than what they'd experienced so far. It was also very damp and the lighting was even more dim. Then came a low growl followed by a snapping sounds. Suddenly, a gator-like monster erupts out from the darkness ahead.

The glator just grazes by Gosayln with one of its fangs before being subject to a slashing. Shaking it off, the glator snaps at her with its jaws yet again, now four time. It then winds back and its claws begin to glow. A special attack? It had to be. Glators were known for their "Vice Chomp", a bite so powerful it could shatter boulders.

The Glator luckily manages to connect its attacks, biting her once on the arm, once on the wing, and twice on one leg before winding back and using its Vice Chomp on Gosalyn's other wing.
30HP - 6HP = 24HP
Suddenly the Glator is unable to defend itself, however, from an onslaught of quick succession slashes and shakes off before being clawed down the center by Gosalyn's Dragon Claw Fury.
5HP - 6HP = 0
The monster then looks down at its claw marks and turns in the tunnel, diving back into the sewer waters and swimming away.

A dead end? Well, there was that fork in the tunnel. If Cerelus hadn't made it through from her tunnel, then it was definitely the last path. Hugo and Lucas were certain to be a bit antsy if they were kept too much longer. They technically shouldn't even be that close to the front door without permission to pass the gates which they obviously didn't have. | |

Back at the fork, Gosalyn finds Cerelus sitting there against a wall. "There you are! So I guess your tunnel was a dead-end too. Then, that means it's gotta be this last one! Let's go!" Cerelus then runs off down the tunnel with Gosalyn. However, toward the end they stop. Cerelus sees the ladder at the end and starts to approach it when she hears a sudden splash in the sewer water behind her.
Turning around, she sees two of them, both practically grinning as they loom over her. Cerelus's eyes grow as large as melons as she starts to back up. "Um...you...y'see. GOSALYN!"

The first Glator turns around the instant it notices Gosalyn and takes the full front of her successive slashes then shakes off, growling at her.
Glator 1: 15HP - 6HP = 9HP
Instantly the first Glator lunges toward Gosalyn, with two successive snaps of its jaws before spinning to hit her with its tail and finally chomping at her twice more.
The second Glator then turns around and growls as well, Snapping at Gosalyn once then windings its head back. Its front fangs begin to glow suddenly. Oh, great, Vice Chomp. | |
